Foundation Requests

The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.  The Rotary Club of Cumberland- Lincoln raises funds annually and contributes to the Rotary Foundation to support their charitable and educational activities. 

The Rotary Club of Cumberland-Lincoln also supports international and local charitable, community, and educational activities.  Individuals, groups or organizations wishing to receive support from the Rotary Club of Cumberland-Lincoln should forward a written request to the Club President.  Requests should include background information on the organization or individual making the request, a description of the need, identification of those that will benefit and the anticipated impact.

Requests will be granted at the discretion of the Board of Directors.  Requests which support the overall Rotary goals of improved health, enhanced education, or the alleviation of poverty and advance understanding, goodwill and peace will receive priority.
